Once contained in a pottery vessel (either lost or unidentified since the time of excavation), this is a group of small lumps of consolidated grain or a grain-based product (e.g. bread/cake).


From Kerma, grave 5532. 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan. (Accession Date: September 27, 2006)
