Heavy piece of thick solid bronze with no recognizable form. Shape is roughly rhomoidal.One side is encrusted, the other side pitted.
From Nubia (Sudan) Gebel Barkal, between 700 and 800. 1916: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
