Two handled jar

Tall ovoid jar with flat base, elongated neck, narrow mouth, and rolled rim. Two vertical stirrup handles at shoulder. Redware with white wash; finely combed horizontally. Twenty-six total fragments. Rim chipped; vessel mostly incomplete.

Provenance

From Giza mastaba G2175B tomb of Nedju (G 2175). 1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
