Straight-sided dish with flat base

Large fragment of low-fired redware bowl; flat-based with a slightly flaring rim; dark red paint coating the interior in horizontal red streaks and in a band around the exterior rim edge, some wear at the inner edge of the rim.

From Mediq (ASN 79/15/1). 1908. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession Date: June 12, 2006)
