Spouted silver cup

Ceremonial spouted silver vessel with two parallel spouts emerging from the upper body. Convex sides, round base, plain rim, and a thin silver sheet covering half of the aperture on the top of the vessel.

Provenance

From el-Kurru, pyramid 4 (tomb of Queen Khensa). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
