Small spouted hemispherical bowl

This small hemispherical bowl is hand shaped from a somewhat coarse clay fabric. It has a short spout that narrows to a very small aperture. The spout and three fragments have broken off but are present, and the remaining portions represent a nearly complete vessel.

From Kerma, Cemetery M, grave 59. 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession date: July 26, 2006)
