Slender shouldered jar

Body of slender shouldered jar: base and rim/neck broken off. The base would have presumably been pointed. The body of the vessel was handmade, probably through coiling. The exterior is covered in a white slip.

From Giza, Menkaura Valley Temple. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
