Slender ovoid jar (Flask)

Slender ovoid jar with pointed base: rim missing, body preserved from base to bottom of neck. This portion of the vessel was hand made and covered on the exterior surface with a cream slip.


From Giza, Menkaura Valley Temple, sub-56-253. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
