Sherds from an ovoid jar

Sherds from an ovoid jar with round base: not reconstructed. No portion of the rim remains, though there are small sherds from the cylindrical neck. The body of the vessel was handmade, likely through coiling, and white slipped on the exterior surface.

From Giza, G 4440 A. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
