Sherds from a large jar with pointed base: sherds not reassembled, no rim sherds preserved. The body of the vessel was handmade and haphazardly smoothed on the exterior. The exterior was coated with a white or pink wash. Possible parallels: 37.2650 (Large ovoid jar) and GPMP type AB7.

Provenance

From Giza, G 5020 Annex (see notes). 1935: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
