Sherds from a jar

13 body sherds from a jar: not reconstructed. Handmade, probably through coiling, and very carefully smoothed on the exterior. Exterior surface was slipped in either pink or white. Would have possibly belonged to an ovoid storage jar, roughly // GPMP type AB2.

From Giza, G 4240 A. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
