Sherds from a globular shouldered jar

Sherds from an almost-globular shouldered jar with rolled rim and pointed base: only a half of the profile has been reconstructed. The entire vessel is wheelmade; it is red slipped and burnished on the exterior, continuing through the interior of the rim.

From Giza, G4630. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
