Sherd from a large jar: 50% of rim and 100% of neck preserved, but no portion of the body remains. The rim and neck are unslipped. This portion of the vessel was wheelmade; a few lines from inside the neck suggest the body was handmade.

From Giza, G 4440 A, shaft. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
