Scarab

Part of a scarab seal with the upper part broken off and missing. The color is nearly gone, but might have been black. There are traces of hieroglyphics on the seal side but are damaged.

From Egypt, Giza, Street G 7300, debris between mastabas G 7350 and G 7450. 1927: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
