Royal sculpture fragment

Rectilinear Fragment, Flat surface, part of throne or base. Two flat finished adjoining surfaces from right edge of sculpture, small traces of blue fill. Hieroglyphs: Nebty, traces of cobra and vulture on Neb Baskets.


From Giza, Menkaura (Mycernus) Pyramid Temple. Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
