Ring bezel fragment

This is a fragment of a ring bezel with part of shank. It has hieroglyphs consisting of a scarab beetle with a sun-disc above and a rearing cobra to the right. The shank has a floral decoration.


From Egypt, Giza, North of pyramid I-b. 1924: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
