Ring bezel

This ring bezel is broken at one end and has a small piece of the shank attached at the other end. It is incised with the hieroglyphs "Imn-re (Amen Re), lord of heaven."

Provenance

From Egypt, Giza, Street G 7000, sand just above gebel. 1926: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
