Necklace

This group of beads contains over 300 black and white ring beads stuck in clumps with original stringing. A bit of mummy cloth is in with beads. The beads are from a necklace found on a male burial.

From Egypt, Sheikh Farag SF 514, neck of male burial. 1923: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
