Mouth of a squat jar

Fragments of the mouth and upper shoulder of a large, squat jar of brownish clay with a dark red slip; plain, squared rim. Four total fragments; incomplete; repaired. Horizontal bands around rim.

From Giza, mastaba G 4240 A. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
