Mixed black-topped bowl fragments

This group of vessel fragments includes portions of at least two bowls from two different graves. One is a black-topped redware bowl with incised decoration, while the other is a black-topped red polished bowl. More vessels may be represented.

Provenance

From Kerma, Cemetery M, graves 59 & 60 . 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan. (Accession date: July 13, 2006)
