Legs of a seated figure

This fragment of a small seated figure is comprised of two legs from the knee to lower calf and part of the back of the throne. The stone is coarse-grained alabaster.

From Nubia (Sudan), Kerma, K IV room B debris. 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession date: March 1, 1920)
