Left arm of a striding figure

This is a small fragment that joins the left upper arm of 20.1196a-b, which are two joining fragments of a striding statue. The stone is black granodiorite with sporadic black biotite inclusions and mica, the break areas look granulated. GD5.

From Nubia (Sudan), Kerma, K IV 405 debris 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession date March 1, 1920)
