Large (majority) fragment of a circular spiral-rilled redware tray

This large fragment is the majority of a circular tray with a rilled spiral pattern covering one entire surface; the opposite surface is not rilled. The tray does not sit flat, rather it is somewhat warped. It is one of four excavated together, some of which were fragmentary.

From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1900, debris. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan. (Accession Date: September 14, 2006)
