Large lid/offering plate

This is a large disc-shaped lid or offering plate made of a somewhat coarse light brown clay fabric. It is somewhat roughly shaped with edges upturned in some areas and not others.

From Nubia (Sudan) Gebel Barkal, Pyramid 6 (tomb of Nawidemak). 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan. (Accession Date: September 19, 2006)
