This fragment is part of the base and right foot from standing statuette of a king, with the 'nine bows' under his feet. The back is inscribed with the end of a titulary (?), ending '... beloved of X, lord of Madu'. Presumably, it is originally from Medamud (ancient Madu), then brought to Kerma....
