Inlay

Six fragments of millefiori glass inlay pieces, two of which fit together. They are parts of wings, probably either of a sun disc of figure of Isis. They are all patinated and the colors are faded.

From Meroe (Beg. West) Pyr. 145, 1921: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
