Horse trapping. Rod-holder, confronted lions rampant snarling with mouths open and tongues run out; elongated, stylized necks, small loop at end of tail; small lions leaping on the back of each, Green patina.

From Luristan, 1930: purchased by the MFA through Mr. Upham Pope.* (Accession date: August 7, 1930) *Ninety-five objects, numbered 30.544-30.637 were purchased as a group for $15,000, plus a $2250 commission.
