Gilded glass ball beads

10 complete and 14 broken ball beads, made of a core of clear glass, gilded and then with a 2nd glass coating. (0bj Reg says: "12 complete broken," "1 fragment to R.W. Smith for Study, June 1949").

From Meroe, Beg. N II original filling in stairwell. February 1921: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
