Fragments of a signet ring

There are remnants of gold sheet on this ring. It is currently in two piecesand the frame of the bezel is broken. Found with several other rings.


From Meroe, Beg. W. 333, debris from "thieve's alley". February, 1923: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
