Finger ring

A ring with a circular bezel showing scored parallel lines. It was found on the right hand of the main burial. The burial chamber was unplundered.

From Meroe, Beg. W. 179, right hand main burial. February, 1922: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
