Finger ring

The intact burial contained an adult skeleton in the remains of a wooden coffin. Amulets and jewelry were found in situ on the body. This ring was found on a finger of the right hand. The rectangular bezel is inlaid with a glass inset featuring a sacred eye.

From Meroe, Beg. W 214. January 10, 1923: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
