Eye of Horus (wedjat) beads

This is a group of approximately forty wedjat eye amulet beads with two bronze beads and fragments of bronze beads with with bronze or silver ring beads between them. The Object Register previously noted that these beads were threaded together but they are no longer threaded.

Provenance

From Giza, G 7509. 1925: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
