Deep bowl/beaker

Polished, slipped redware bowl with high horizontal burnish inside and out; flat base; ash and burn marks near the rim and inside; chipped at one end of the rim; wear is all on one side of rim.

From Dakka (ASN103/46/1). 1910. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession date: May 19, 2006)
