Black-topped redware pot with crude, unevenly thick walls; heavy wear damage to the black polished interior and rim; burn marks and wear over the exterior surface; straw tempered silt with limestone inclusions.

From Dakka (ASN102/346/2). 1910. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession date: May 19, 2006)
