Alabaster canopic jar of Hapy the Baboon. Horizontal band and three vertical columns hieroglyphs. Cover missing. Surface slightly decayed. Belonged to Taharqa.


From Nuri, pyramid 1 (tomb of Taharqa). 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
