Bowl

This bowl has convex sides, giving it a shallow hemispherical shape. The interior and exterior are treated with a red wash. It is broken with some pieces missing. Two fragments remains: one large and one small.

From Nubia (Sudan) Gebel Barkal, Building 100, room 101. 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan. (Accession Date: August 25, 2006)
