Bowl

This is one of four bowls of similar type excavated together, of which this is the only one located. It is fashioned of red brown ware, straw-marked, black centered, red washed rim. One cracked, others in fragments.

From Meroe, W743. 1923: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession Date: August 23, 2006)
