Aswan granite. Three fragments forming one block; inscription in vertical column, with titles of Amen of Thebes; hieroglyphs are cut very deeply, and have sharp and well preserved edges.

From Bubastis, great temple of Bastet. 1887–88: excavated by Edouard Naville for the Egypt Exploration Fund; assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund by the government of Egypt; 1890: given to the MFA by the Egypt Exploration Fund. (Accession Date: January 1, 1890)
