Black-topped redware bowl which has heavy wear over the exterior (horizontally burnished). The interior is horizontally burnished black.

From Qurta (ASN 115/87/3). 1911. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession date: May 19, 2006)
