Black-topped redware beaker (Egyptian)

Black top-red ware small-shoulder, broad mouth pot with flat, concave base and burnished exterior. There is a white, crusty residue inside and "single pot above 6” written in pencil on outside face.

Bahan. (ASN 17/73). 1907: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; awarded to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession date: May 19, 2006)
