Beads and amulet

One string contains forty faience ball beads, one faience barrel bead, one faience cylinder bead and one carnelian barrel bead. A second string contains eighty small faience ring beads and one turtle amulet. There are also twenty-two loose faience ball beads.

Provenance

From Egypt, possibly Abydos. 1903: excavated by William Matthew Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund in the division of finds by the government of Egypt, received by the MFA through subscription to the Egypt Exploration Fund. (Accession Date: January 1, 1903)
