Beads

Two black bodied glass barrel beads with longitudinal white and blue band. These beads were made from glass strip which was rolled up into shape while plastic. The seams are invisible and one bead has dull black patina.

From Meroe (Beg. West) Pyr. 140, 1922: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
