Amulet with triad of deities

Blue glazed faience triad: Amen, Horus, and Female wearing red crown. Reverse shows relief female figure with lion head and winged arms; crowned with disc on either side incised hieroglyphics. Holes transversely through three heads.


From el-Kurru, pyramid 53 (tomb of Queen Tabiry). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession date: January 1, 1924)
