Amulet of Pataikos

One large scale amulet of the dwarf god Pataikos standing on a small square base, very well made but with the head missing. There is a broken loop at the back of the neck for suspension. It is of green glaze.


From Egypt, Giza, Pit G 7757 A, (tomb of Kheperre) debris of Room IV. 1929: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
