Amulet of a falcon

Amulets of falcons were popular throughout Egyptian history and were associated with several different deities, most notably Horus and Ra-Horakhty. In the absence of a headdress it is imposible to know with certainly which god is intended.


From Egypt, Giza, G 7600x .1929 : excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
