The Memphite god Nefertum was associated with the myth of creation, in which the newborn sun god emerged from a blue lotus. Nefertum is shown in human form wearing a short kilt, lappet wig amf headdress in the form of a lotus. This amulet is made of light blue glazed faience shows the god standing.
