By 1982, owned by Antiquers III, Brookline, Massachusetts; October 30, 1987, purchased from Antiquers III by John Axelrod, Boston, Massachusetts; 2008, promised gift of John Axelrod to the MFA; 2011, gift of John Axelrod to the MFA.
