This spoon has a tipped fiddle stem with an upturned end, a rounded shoulder, and an egg-shaped bowl.

Inscription

"ELB" in script laterally on the front of the stem.

Marks

"__Rogers" in uppercase letters stamped in a rectangle and "1" struck incuse on the back of the shoulder. The presumed "A" is worn away and illegible.

Provenance

April 11, 1940, annonymous gift to MFA in honor of Charlotte Beebe Wilbour (1883-1914).
