This unmarked urn was made for Revere's family. It is probably the "1 silver sugar pot 14 oz" recorded in the 1818 probate inventory of Revere's estate.

Provenance

Made for Revere family use; Paul Revere's daughter Harriet (d. 1860); to H. Louisa Johnson; her brother William Henry Johnson; his eldest daughter Harriet Revere Johnson, 1892; her cousin, the donor, by 1909.
