Sheraton-style sofa with triple panel crest rail drapery swags and tassled ribbon knot in center, clusters of thunderbolts tied with ribbons on either side. Reeded front rail, curved and reeded arms resting on turned and carved posts. Four front legs with brass casters.


Originally owned by Rufus King, New York, Minister to Great Britain and singnatory to the Declaration of Independence. Passed from Rufus King to James G. King to John A. King to Mrs. J. Schnard Davis to Edward King Davis to Gerald Davis. Sold by Gerald Davis to Israel Sack. Sold to Esther Rabb in 1946.
